backstory

As the eldest of three brothers, finding creative win-win solutions was an everyday task and something I naturally gravitated towards. Looking back, this is the earliest throughline to which I can tie to my interest in law. To this day, I still enjoy the challenge of understanding structures and relationships, digging into details, and crafting unique solutions to uncover and maximize value.

After earning my JD and MBA at Columbia and working several years at law firms here in NYC, I took an opportunity to work in-house for an infrastructure developer. I loved the creative problem solving, teamwork, and grit required to complete complicated greenfield projects and seeing the results that could be achieved through perseverance, patience, and strong partnerships.

These values sparked my interest in privately held enterprises and eventually led me to Tishman in 2023. During my interview process, what resonated with me was the firm’s history and culture. It was clear that Tishman was not afraid to reinvent itself and took a long-term view on its business, partners, and people.

At Tishman, we are constantly assessing the market environment and figuring out how to best adapt. The firm operates with the understanding that real value isn’t found in typical solutions. Rather, it is unlocked with collaboration and hard work - a shared willingness to persevere through problems and dive into overlooked details. I am thrilled to be a part of this creative process, helping navigate the changing landscape and execute on our vision.
